Pearl Lake Opening Day 2017

Let's go diving at Pearl Lake! This is opening weekend down at Pearl, so it will be a fun day to get out and start the 2017 season off right.

We'll depart at 9am from the Memorial Union loop and plan to do two dives. We'll fire up a grill between dives, so feel free to bring something to cook.

Costs for this event are as follows:

• Gear rental + 2 tanks of air = $25
• 2 tanks of air only (if you already have your own gear) = $20
• Gear only = $10
• In addition, everyone will need to bring a separate $20 park entrance fee and a certification card.

To pay for gear and/or tank rental beforehand with a credit card, sign up for this event. Otherwise please bring cash to the check-out.

Gear checkout will be Friday evening, April 21 from 6-7pm at the dive locker in the Memorial Union. (A separate event to pay for gear online will be sent out a week or so beforehand.) Take note that the UW Varsity Band concerts are going on Friday and Saturday nights, so on-campus parking will be tight.

Who: Current Hoofer SCUBA members. Minimum OW certification is required.
